Why BSNL charges differently for laptop and desktop
I am tushar from ulhasnagar,thana dist.,mumbai.
i m planning to buy 1 net connect, i prefer evdo service i enquired regarding charges for both laptop and desktop, as i've both they said,:-- for desktop usage i will be charged rs 3500(device)+550(activation)+550(fixed rental\m)+(taxes stuff) where as for laptop rs 2800(device)+250(activation)+250(fixed rental\m)+(taxes stuff) in both the above cases i they assured me of same speeds i.e 256kilobytes\sec varies 2megabytes\sec. and the usage is unlimited..!! Actually the ppl at exchange at my place in ulhasnagar didint know much about the services, devices etc.. but they are sure that there is EVDO service in ulhasnagar. i want to know why they charge differently for laptop and desktop..?? and do we really get same speeds on both laptop and desktop..?? then i mus go for laptop connection as it is nominal for me THANK YOU |

RE: Why BSNL charges differently for laptop and desktop
I think its NIC.
But EVDO can be used for desktop and laptop as well. And cost doesn't vary. Tell them it not "NIC" and its "EVDO" Please don't PM/Email me regarding any technical query. They will go unread/ignored. Instead post them in forums. Let others know ur problems too. Like my work? Friend me on: Guests cannot see links in the messages.
