Visual c++ runtime error. Zte/App.exe stopped working
i am using zte bsnl evdo modem for about two months. i have installed zte modem on a freshly installed laptop with windows 7. it was working great for two days.
then after installing some software i had to restart my system while still connected to the internet via zte. i restarted it and later when i opnened the zte dialer it gives the following error...

Microsoft visual c++ runtime error!
/Ztewireless/app.exe has requestwd to terminate in an unusual way.
then it says
Problem Event Name: APPCRASH
Application Name: App.exe
Application Version: 2.2.4.0
Application Timestamp: 48b28e0d
Fault Module Name: App.exe
Fault Module Version: 2.2.4.0

...
.
.
.
later i uninstalled the dialer software and tried to install it again.
While installing it says INSTALLER.EXE stppoed working. then when i open it , it ives the same app.exe error.
.
.
.
now i am connecting to internet through network and sharing center, which automatically created a dialup connection using zte modem.
now i do not have the option of seeing the connection speed/ tower reception etc.
.

.
..

Anybody have any idea of why this happens?
P.S: i have my project work due and desperately need the solution. i would be grateful if you could help.

P.S: i am sure that this problem started because i restarted while i was connected to the net.

I think a recently installed java based program might have triggered the problem. It happened to me also but in my case the java based program crashed giving some .NET error while ZTE dialer worked just fine.I was thinking of a format but luckily it got sorted out on its own. What you can do is update your Windows, you might find some ZTE update also.

Don't worry, although i don't know why this happend but this same problem occured with me also, I tell you what i did.

Click on The "Network sign" in the task bar.

Click On ZTE Wireless Terminal, press "Connect.".

a window for dialling will appear.

fill 'User name' & 'Password'.
[This is the same, BSNL has given in the set-up setting of EV-DO dialer window.][if you still don't know you can ask them]

Then Press 'Dial' button to connect.

Done.
[If anybody know better way tell me also.]
