Unplug your modem, follow step 8, and plug it back again. Check if it comes now.

RE: Using ZTE AC8700 in Mac
This a very simple solution. It has worked with my evdo modem and my friends reliance cdma modem too.
You should read the messages at the terminal carefully, now you are saying it is not properly installed. How do you expect it to load when its not properly installed? |

RE: Using ZTE AC8700 in Mac
hey iam doing the whole stuff again. i shall tell you how iam gonna do it.
1.iam gonna plug in the device. 2. install the software. 3.reboot the machine. 4.copy the info.plist file u uploaded to the location/System/Library/Extensions/osx-pl2303.kext/Contents/ 5.close it and run disk utility to fix the disk permissions. 6.then restart and check system preferences for new interface. 7.if god favours i shall be lucky. will proceed after your reply only. |

RE: Using ZTE AC8700 in Mac
You will get the same speeds. In fact, browsing in safari seems to be faster than browsing on windows in FF or Opera.

Generic Dial Up is the only option that works.
