RE: use bsnl's wll external patch antenna to increse signal strenth
Hi,

Yes, I'm Gigacore from thinkdigit forums.

The number of bars depend upon how far u stay from the tower or upon the signal strenght. Usually everyone will get 2 - 4 bars.

Opening and forwarding the ports has been a mystery and u can find them somewhere in this forum.

There is method called "CD Slide-in" trick that most people have tried and has good better signal reception. And even I'm one among them.

You can read that tutorial here: Guests cannot see links in the messages. Please register in our forum for free by clicking here to see links.

Regarding forwarding ports.. u need to do a small search in this forum or wait for someone else to reply.

Please don't PM/Email me regarding any technical query. They will go unread/ignored. Instead do post them in forums. Let others know ur problems too.

@shan2129
Well if u need PORT FW on EVDO, understand it that it's not any BSNL EVDO user's Pice of cake. We have done enough research in this forum and outside also. Result is no prot forwading for our zte evdo device(its strictly a modem and not a ROUTER).
@to all.
Please stop calling AC 8700 800M as an EVDO outer, it's strictly an EVDO / CDMA MODEM using USB virtual serial port.
