NIC Card in Bangalore available?
I called up one of the CSC's and as per them only one type of connection available - EVDO with 700 rental (he told 700 Rs rental, which is incorrect, also the sale price of card is 3500 , not 2100 as they haven't received any updates about the offer)

Can someone tell me whether I can take the 144 kbps connection with national roaming? I just need this much as I have a another high speed broadband at home, and I need this to be used only when I am on the move.

Another doubt I have is whether I can buy the EVDO device and get it configured for 144 kbps? Since it can be upgraded to EVDO connection later on.. Is this available in Bangalore?

Hello freind i have a solution for u.☺☻

First of all if u need only 144 kbps speed then never buy evdoGuests cannot see images in the messages. Please register in our forum for free by clicking here to see images.. Second u can request bsnl to configure the modem to use cdma 1x network.

Now the solution.
If u want internet only for the move then i would suggest u to get a edge connection enabled mobile. I have one its capacity is upto 236 Kbps. Atlast edge mobile is lot better than 144 speed.
