New EVDO Volume Based Tariff(999Rs) is WITHHELD

The order that I posted is exact copy of order that I received. The Only change is that I withheld the officer's signature and name..As a employee of BSNL I am not liable to disclose in public or private.. However in-case if the order is marked for public circular then I have no hesitation to publicly disclose here..

As per BSNL HQ lr no:24-7 /2009-R&C , the revised unlimited EVDO tariff of Rs 999/- per month is applicable only for the new EVDO customers(registered on or after 1/11/2009). The Existing EVDO customers would continue to avail unlimited data usage at Rs 650/- per month.

I need your advise in this

THis is my first usage bill and have been billed to Rs 1379.. where it should have been Rs 550 + 200 as per the BSNL's plan

Please help me here to understand the charges that they have included.

Is it only me who got this kind of bill or its obvious in the 1st month and will get to optimal billing from next month onwards.

Hey,
I dont understand the billing period. U have mentioned 31/10/2009 to 01/11/2009. It is just one day????. Now where as your bill amount is concerned,the tariff is 650+12%(tax), so even i got my first bill of 1034Rs for one month with its activation charge. U have mentioned that BSNL tariff is 500+200,Thats the old tariff when you get the BSNL modem on rental basis. If you purchase it(Modem) from BSNL for 3640RS then you only have to pay 650+tax. And we(Kalyan,Virar,Vasai) people get the bill together for two months I.E 1430RS= 650+650+130rs(12%tax).

Regarding the tariff .. at the time of taking this connection they told me 550(usage charge) + 200(rental)

Thats quite surprising the bill date .. i think need to clarify the same with BSNL authorities..

Did you purchase it on rental basis or did u purchase the evdo modem by paying 3650rs??. and which area are you from????

i received my november 2009 bill.. & it is rs 607/- total. (550+tax)

Hey Banik,
Maybe you purchased the modem before 650 plan was implemented,hence u get the bill of 550+tax,but then after 6 months u will automatically come to 650plan.
