i am in deep shit.
I only get 15KBps download speed.
cant even see youtube without buffering.
I got good speed occasionally, that too at 3am in the night.

please advice.

Hi very nice topic. I want to know in detail how EVDO-CDMA can be configured, is it with pst? How can I get EVDO signal from IX, Please explain.

I got my device reconfigured to EVDO and its doing pretty good. I am getting decent speeds. Considering the distance (7 KM) I stay from the tower, the speeds are pretty good for two bars.

The speed ranges from 250 Kbps - 600 Kbps..

Its little worthy for me, coz there is no ADSL in our area from past 10 months coz of some highway renovation..

^ You need to take the device to ur local BSNL Telephone exchange, give a letter for tarrif change from CDMA 1x to EVDO and they will do the rest. It's free.

After reconfiguring, ur tarrif changes and ur montly bill will be increased..

^ u will have to take the device to ur nearest exchange and ask them to get it reconfigured. They will tell u write a letter for the change of tariff, write it and give it to them. They will reconfigure the device then and there itself or sometime they might take some time. After getting it reconfigured, ur tariff will change...
