RE: Getting AC8700 Rev 0 in March 2010 !!!
Hi jnpadya,
The cost of the device is Rs.3500 +140 (tax). You have every right for asking for Rev.A cards, don't hesitate to insist for replacement. Just quote their ad in news papers and website as "BSNL EVDO data card with speed up to 3.1Mbps " Guests cannot see links in the messages. Please register in our forum for free by clicking here to see links. Why should you be supplied with 2.4Mbps compliant cards to receive 3.1Mbps network. They may say that they were supplied only with this card. Ask them to get fresh supply of Rev.A cards for which you have paid. Since I have limited quota for uploading images, Kindly refer to the images already uploaded in another thread of this site at post no68. Guests cannot see links in the messages. RE: Getting AC8700 Rev 0 in March 2010 !!!
I and Chirag went to BSNL customer service center today and asked for the replacement. They did not have any idea about the Rev A modem. After getting their higher officials' numbers, they also informed that there is no directive from BSNL about the replacement. We were told that if any update is there on the issue, they will call us, which I doubt a lot.Guests cannot see images in the messages. I will wait for some more days till somebody from Baroda gets a new Rev A device and then will approach the BSNL people. Is there any official site (which should be really working!!) to post querries/complaints like this? Please let me know if there is any.Guests cannot see images in the messages. Hi jnpandya,
There is a 'Feed back' option in the home page of BSNL to submit your queries and comments. But I hope, only personal contacts will be fruitful. It is not the matter of 'directive from their department' but your legitimate right to get the right product.Guests cannot see images in the messages.
