faulty BTS?
hi
i was a evdo user for almost past 6 months i used to get good speed between 150 to 200 KBPS

but for the last few weeks my download speed is very low sometimes below 10 KBPS but if i move my laptop around i can detect good signal that goes up to 50 KBPS but not much change

can this be caused by fault in the tower how do i report this to bsnl?

please help.

when You get the connection there were less people with EVDO in your BTS area. Now more people purchase and use it bandwith is now shared, Since EVDO is movable object there is noway control the inflow and outflow of EVDO users in one area to another..

RE: faulty BTS?
thank you for relying quickly

i dont think the number of users is the problem my town is very small and i living out side of the city not many houses here for 4-10 kms

the speed drop is also constant like during days from 12-7 and in the early morning but if i take the laptop to the other room or change the devices position im getting some seep hike seems more like a coverage problem but my speed was fine few weeks ago

is there anything i can do to rectify this problem?

The best way to get this thing resolved is by contacting the customer support (though they are not so helpful). Explain your problem to them and they will try to get it resolved if the issue is not related with the bottleneck of bandwidth.

Please don't PM/Email me regarding any technical query. They will go unread/ignored. Instead post them in forums. Let others know ur problems too.
