Is this new tariff applicable only for REV A ? in case they r introducing Rev A next month .We are already paying 850 now , so it will be somewhere around 1350 if the new tariff is applied from nov 1 .
Anyways by tomorrow i will confirm this from BSNL indiranagar exchange office in bangalore.

Rs1300 is way too much for such poor service i never got speed more than 800Kbps i will definately gonna disconnect EVDo and will take 1mbps unlimited broadband connection from BSL which is rs 1300+ taxes atleast i will get consistent speed

hey bro we are postpaid customer...and differences are because current tariff is 650 and 1 Nov onwards it will be 999...huh are jhoot kyun boloon 1200 lagenge fir....50% jada......being student, i can't afford it

Now please stop debating and start mailing to all the addresses enclosed and YES DON'T FORGET TO TELL UR FRIEND, USING EvDO TO MAIL AS SOON AS POSSIBLE B4 1 NOV

Pl. calm down guys!!Let us split the problem here.. BSNL has upgraded in places from EVDO REV-0 to EVDO REV-A which eliminates many shortcomings in EVDO-REV-0(frequent disconnection,slow upload speed etc.,) EVDO-) support 2.4.Mbps wheres REV-A support 3.1. mbps as well as 1.4 mpbs upload speed. for this they have to fix a new price tag and plan too. But they scooped it as merely EVDO without assiging whether it is for REV- 0 or REV-A..thus they who already purchase the NIC and EVDO-REV-0 cards they increase the price already after notifying the customer by giving Six months time. The old customers are not going to changed to new plans...
But hereafter BSNL may sell only EVDO -REV card only so the new customers will be in the new plans only.. In many exchange there is no stock of NIC or EVD0-REV-0 in chennai but EVDO -REV A stock is accumulated and distributed to areawise..They will sell these card in new plans( but it is yet to be notified in the intranet in Chennai)
Same type of alarm raised when BSNL announced new plans,but immediately rumour posted about unlimited plans withdrawn..finaly it turnout to be coax..
I am yet to see some mature posting..
However there is no harm to email to cmd,bsnl , because BSNL has a worst webmaster maintaining their site and language in the sites confused to many users and BSNL is losing customers confidence due to this ..

i too came to know that BSNL is going to change "plans"......
as per the information i got is custs who r using unlimited plan with Rs:650/mnth (me too) can continue bt they will be getting a free data upto 5GB/mnth.(.effective from Nov 2009)if u r going with unlimited plan..u have to pay Rs:999/mnth.

i'm not sure abt this i jst shared what i got .....anyway lets wait and see..........bye

watever... 5gb -> Rs.650 . its expensive..

unlimited ->Rs.999 .expensive too.. better to take 1300 2mbps wired from bsnl
