EVDO and torrent download/upload speeds ?

so anyone started using torrents with EVDO ?

if you have do give us a review on the download and upload speeds you have got so far

If you want to dowload torrents using evdo, then dont have high expectations.

Firstly all of us have a shared static ip, which means you cannot use private torrent sites.
There is no way to open a port on the Modem given by BSNL, so you can connect to others, but others cannot connect to you, and hence you cannot upload, which will ruin your ratio, so dont even think of private sites.
Even on public trackers, the speeds are usually low unless there are at least 100 seeds.
Because its a wireless connection, speeds will keep fluctuating through out the day.

I think that is why rate of EVDO is so low.

Port blocking ain't acceptable in anyway.

Just because it doesnt fit into your scheme of things, doesnt mean that, you go bitching about it everywhere..

stop it dudes... a net connection is not for browsing alone.. port forwarding is an essential thing to do for many services like video conferencing etc.. we need a unshared ip for using many features in the net.. above all u can get caught for all the thingss done by another user using the same ip.. its like fingerprints.. u ll get nailed..
