I just got this EVDO card.. but the nearest EVDO tower is in Maraimalai Nager which is 8 k.m away from my residence.. the local officers told me speed will be low.. Actually I got this card as trial offer for 10 days with 0 deposit.. So I 'll take it with my laptop to my office in chennai and I 'll report here.. speed test reveal it is 49kbps.. is it decent for this distance ?

^ congrats on ur purchase.
What signal are u receiving ? EVDO or 1X ? Even I stay about 7 KM away from the tower and I receive 1X, and speeds are good! Waiting for ur report from ur office. |

the signal is blinking yellow so it must me CDMA IX now speakeasy says downloads 47 kbps upload 70kbps..(from USA server).. how this is possible..?

I am Ajay Negi member of your website from Dehradun. I have purchased BSNL EVDO(USB Modem) from two months and currently in am using CDMA1X but EVDO is not yet been launched in our city(the bsnl offical are saying that the evdo will lauch in august in our city).
