Getting Good speeds at an average of 110 kbps on utorrent downloads. I was using the same card in cochin till last weekend. I used to get upto 220kbps there but only at night and the speed was variant. Here in adayar i have very consistent speeds. The download speed graph on utorrent is steady on that 110 mark. Speeds are lower at MRC Nagar.

It seems that the EVDO- REV-A is yet to be finalised/only EVDO REV-0 is available..the information furnised by tecnical wing of WLL section. so if you want EVDO card now it is the time to get it in your CSR .. but purchase EVDO REV-A card.. the price increase is put on hold even for new user in Chennai BSNL so will get this plan at 550/ p.m in Chennai only.

Hi vaithy, i got my EVDO card 10 days back(LIVE IN TRIPLICANE). iT TOOK THEM 2 DAYS FOR ACTIVATION. Atlast i got the connection. I get full signal here. About exchange of cards it is a theoretical question.. and BSNL is yet to implement REV-A..

about the speed, your is best position to assess the speed available in your area..Although the Manali is now in the chart of EVDO BTS there many factors involved about the speed.. You my be wrong end of location..Say your area is consist of more than 5 K.M radius and the BTS situate in the extreme north and your resident is in extreme south.. than your speed my affect.. So it is your own interest you have to approach the area SDE to ask about the speed..
