well i got no change in Towers... and speeds got worse... the tower is almost 300 meters aways from my home.. Guests cannot see images in the messages. Please register in our forum for free by clicking here to see images.
what i did was that i plugged in the cable that came with modem and plugged it into the Hub provided by Microsoft.. ! now in the same way i tried placing it over my monitor, on my table and behind my CPU.. got me a impression that the speeds were not going above 3 kb/s , one more thing i recently i mean just about 10 minutes ago updated my drivers and after that the maximum post speed in modem is showing @115200 but i guess by default it was 230400 ?? should i go back to the old drivers ? |

But here i can't find the images right now. May be flickr removed the photos from the their server. So i am request to kindly upload the images again (or) send the images to my email address. thx! man for that excellent idea.
i am taking no credit from him but i found a way to further improve the signal strength. All u have to do is when u insert the cd into the anteena place it such that the surface of the cd faces direction of your tour.(in short let the cd surface form an angle with the tour). I believe this will make the whole system act just like the dish used for television. I worked for me. Please post your experiece NT: i'll post a pic soon |
