I am planning to get EVDO connection

Gaya in Bihar has also come in the fold of EVDO enabled cities. However coverage is v ery small. U may like to add in the list. I have bought.

Add HAZARIBAGH and RAMGARH to the list. Hazaribagh has 2 EVDO towers at present , one at Jhanda Chowk and the other at Mission Road and full 1X coverage.
Ramgarh has 1X coverage and 1 EVDO tower.

Since EVDO 2.4 Mbps in not yet available everywhere, and BSNL is promising to launch it soon, let us use this thread to keep track of where it is available..

I want the users to share the place where they are using, and the network available, i.e, 1X or EVDO..

Bharuch and ankleshwar are in evdo coverage.
You can expect an coverage of 200-800 kbps range
In Gujarat EVDO service is very good.

As of Now Nadia District have lot numbers of 1X cdma towers but EVDO BTS are only at KrishnagarT/E,Nabadwip(Mayapur also covered) T/E and Ranaghat. For getting a connection i think u should approach at krishnagar Exchange neat post office coz nabadwip is not distributing it. you can contact Mr AK das or Mr vijay chaurasia at First floor of The Telephone exchange. It takes only 30 minutes to take the connection. speed is good as i experience around 1100 Kbps staying 1.33 km away from the BTS(aerial) .njoy

Krishnagar, nabadwip and ranaghat are under EVDO .Please update the city wise list.

PS to admin- This is a reminder after 6 months waiting period of the updation of these cities into the list.I hope it rings u this time. Good day

Is the coverage good in noida Sec-41...?
Its Gautam Budh Nagar district by the way.

Wat are the average download speeds in kilobytes/sec and not in kilobits/sec....?

1 kilobyte = 8 kilobits
So for example, 100KB/s = 800kbps

2.4Mbps = 300 KB/s
