I have applied for the evdo card in Hyderabad 2 days back and iam promised the card within a week. It seems it is launched very recently in hyderabad. However Iam not able to know the exact EVDO covereage details in Hyderabad. The bsnl guys were not aware of it either. Can any one Share the Coverage details in Hyderabad

EVDO is also avilable in Pune... I did bought it but could not use it as my area Katraj do not have the range.

I dunno what plan MTNL has because EVDO is launched by BSNL.

BSNL EVDO is now available in pune as well.Please update your list.i think the coverage is limited to few areas only .They advertised about speed upto 2 MBPS.

there is a stall in salem govt exhibition anybody can check the speed and perfomance of evdo provided by bsnl... i found that speed is upto 750kbps..

No EVDO signal here.. The customer service centre guy is Mr Ashok.. He donno what is evdo signal.. He says some bullshit.. I sat with him in his office(Under the BSNL TOWER). He says we are getting the signals right?!!!!! (Even though the orange light was glowing, n the zte was showing 1X.) I only had to inform him.. Thanks to this forum I could teach him something as to what is evdo n wat is cdma signal n wat are the speeds shown on the ZTE( I mean wat is bps, kbps and KBps) screen etc..
Oh.. I am tired.. Customers only have to inform the bsnl officials.. Great officials..Great Babus..
When asked when will the tower gets the evdo.. H says the tower is evdo enabled.. and only commissioning is delayed.. This all is politics he tells..
He says politicians are not allowing by taking money from private operators.. He gives all these reasons..huh..
I also had been to Mysore road(RAJA RAJESHWARI MEDICAL COLLEGE)
No evdo signal there too..

i live in pune...i contacted to anandnagar branch office....wanted info reg EVDO....that lady told me that BSNL landline is compulsory for any internet connection u take.....i explained her ki USB/EVDO dosent requires landline....then she started saying..."u know or me know ??".Guests cannot see images in the messages.
