Hi,
Any idea if Bilekahalli ( IIM Exchange) is covered here ?
Thanks
The EVDO tower is available in IIM, but not sure whether it emits EVDO signal. Its better if you ask the exchange people before buying.
What about Bannerghatta Road? Arekere, Hulimavu?
Hi users,
Any idea of any telephone no / location of the IIM telephone exchange on BG road ?
Thanks

Hi guys,
I am staying near Marathalli Ganpati Mandir, New Age Primary School Street.
I am planning to take internet connection. I have wireless hardware on my system provided by DELL.
I wanted to know about the coverage of BSNL-EVDO in that place.
I am not getting airtel which was my first preference.
I am keen to take BSNL's internet service but I heard that there customer care service really sucks.
So, I am confused.
Also I wanted to know if I take this EVDO, how can I avail it?
I mean whom to contact and all as I couldn't get any information about it on BSNL site.
please help me. its urgent.
EVDO network may not be available at your area, but I'm sure that you will be able to access CDMA 1x which offers 144+ Kbps which is quite good enough to browse sites and send mails on the move.
I think there is someone in this forum who stays nearby to ur area and they might reply about the network availability, so better wait for them to come online.
Airtel MO is best, but I bet it can never be as good as BSNL EVDO (even CDMA 1x). You can ask our moderator, coolpcguy about his Airtel experience if you wish.
From your last few lines, it looks like u r bit confused.
All you need to do is go to ur nearest BSNL telephone exchange and get the application form on one day, fill it on the same day, get a address proof, submit it on the next day, pay the money, get the device on the same day and wait for hours and they will activate your device and start browsing!! - Sounds easy, isn't it ?
There is no official information or online assistance about EVDO. So thats the reason why we have this unofficial site and forum here.

Its very disheartening to know that there is no service in my region,
I want to download also. So, I need higher speed.
I will wait for that particular person to come online.
Thanks a lot for your reply. It was really helpful.
Hi,
I wanted to know more details about CDMA 1x, will I have to take the landline no. also with it?
I think 144kbps + is the max speed but what is the minimum speed?
What is the tariff for this one?
How many days does it taked to activate this service?
HI,
U dont have to take any landline number with it...
Max speed is 144kbps+ and min depedns upon the signal strength you get but in any case min would be 78kbps not less than that..
For CDMA tarrif plan is
Rs 250---net fees
+Rs 250 Device rental
+Service taxes
So round abt rs 550 pm...
Activation will take 3 hours to 1 day...Genrally on average 6 hours
