at present iam using BSNL wired UL plan,
how can i change it to EVDO..?
wher is it available.?
whom should i contact..?
is there a good coverage at my place(padmanabhanagar),iam looking this for my laptop, i usually keep on roaming B/W bangalore,mysore,delhi,hydrabad..etc
i stay at padmanabhanagar near carmel school,

I visited the Whitefield office after reading gururajanv's post last week for my EVDO device. They were out of stock for the USB ones but had some PCMCIA ones. I checked back with them today and they still don't have any stock. Meanwhile I have tried atleast a dozen other BSNL office and all seem to be out of stock.

channasandra and kadugodi area is also having evdo signal but very unstable
by unstable, do you mean in speed or coverage?? also what % of time do you think the evdo is available??? and when unavailable, how is the quality of the normal gprs connection...

Hi I live in SG palya in CV raman nagar.. 2Kms from bagmane tech park.. Is EVDO available at my place or only CDMA? Anybody using in my area.. what are the speeds like for http downloads and torrentas?

Oh!...they had some stock when i bought...selling like hot cakes i guess...but would be great if i could get EVDO at my home.

Is there a way i can reconfig the device myself, the software posts here were not of much help...can one of you detail it out pls. The local exchange guys here are not aware of the device and i want to avoid travelling from E-city to Whitefield for the re-config, when i am not sure if that will give results. Any help is appreciated.

I am living in Marathahalli. I know there is Evdo towers around this place. I have been trying to get evdo connection for the past 3 months. But everytime i am getting a reply that they are not giving new connections anymore. I know a distributor in marathahalli. Through him only i tried.
Does anyone know whether BSNL is giving evdo connections or not? Also please anyone let me know whether they have the USB Modems in stock. I am looking for the 2Mbps modem. Also please say about the quality of service in and around marathahalli.

As present i am on UL750+ plan from BSNL and i came to know that there is EVDO tower near HSR layout but i am living near Bommanahalli near Hosur road so can somebody throw a light that whether i will be able to get signal or not??

Hi, Can any one say regarding the nearby BTS (or the signal tower) to Hoysala Nagar (Near to Rammoorthy nagar ).
I shifted from Mathikere to Jagadish Nagar recently and tested my EVDO device here.. I am getting speeds upto 300kbps. There is an exchange within 600 metres, but not sure whether it has BST.
The speeds are very much unstable and disconnects often..
My experience with EVDO is not so good so far !! I am on rental, may return it after 2 more months.
