I live in kadarna halli cross, [for reference, its the place where a new under pass is coming up, and the roads are dug],, i read in ur coverage list that there is a tower installed in KUMARASWAMY(KM) layout,, and my friend purchased the EVDO card on that regard. but there is no signal available,,we had gone and re-tuned our EVDO connection too..what may be the possible problem? is the tower at KM layout not yet estrablished? or do u think we are too far from the tower..(for reference i can say our place is about 1.5 to 2 Km from KM layout)..if u know the info then can u give the exact spot of this tower;so that i can stand just below it and try working...... ur responce is greatly appreciated.. thank in advance,

I live in Ananthnagar, Hebaguddi, Bangalore, which is about 3.5 kM (towards Hosur) by road to Electronic City, Infosys and Seimens offices. The air distance should be lesser. Would there be good coverage in my area, as there is a tower in Electronic City? Please help me, as the devices are getting out of stock and i need to urgently decide. Thanks for the help and your time.

Or is it better to invest in EVDO card....one must mostly have the place covered under CDMA 1x...you get better speeds when you move closer to the tower and at a bare min 144kbps?

EVDO device is not available at Koramangala BSNL BDA complex,from past one month,Any Idea of availability in other places in Bangalore.

After a few months of waiting, I took my device to NR Colony to reconfigure it again(I had configured for EVDO long time back but didnt get signals): the lady was really nice she reconfigured it. And back when i reach home, I was able to see the green light with EVDO. So guys, EVDO is available in MATHIKERE. I am getting 3-4 sticks of signals regularly. I heard its available pretty well in RAMIAH Campus and in and around too.

Well....i had posted here to check if there was coverage 3KM from Electronics City....guess no one had a clue..Guests cannot see images in the messages. Please register in our forum for free by clicking here to see images. confused not knowing what to do, i went ahead and got an evdo...i get 1x signal in my place and with all windows and door open and with the CD trick i am able to boost it to evdo...thanks gigacore for the trick...the connection is 90% stable and gets disconnected sometimes...need to now find an external antenna...not in the mood to make one myself...any ideas if there are any for sale which we can use?
P.S. I got it from whitefield office of BSNL...guys wanting to buy can check there...make sure you go with all docs before 1.30 PM

Today EVDO is not connecting? Anyone knows why? When I remove the CD and the signal changes to 1x I am able to connect....however, with EVDO signal it says there was an authentication event, not sure what that means and then it disconnects. Any ideas? When the signal strength changes to EVDO after i connect from 1x, a "zz" dozing icon appears instead of the normal "e".
