I live in Upkar Residency which is near Ullal Upanagar. Vidyanikethan School, ULLal is around 2 kms from my house. Do you think , Kengeri exchange, Mysore Road exchange or Vijayanagar exchange should be able to help me get EVDO coverage.

first of all i am from kerala and now staying in bangalore, mahalakshmi layout near isckon temple( within 1km range)
does anyone know where is the near by telephone exchange?(address or phone no:?)
Is EVDO is enabled in this area?
Do i need a bsnl landline connection to purchase EVDO?
(I think i could get address proof from my house owner)

I am planning to get EVDO, I like to know the signal strength in the vijinapura area (near ramamurthynagar police station). Is the ramamuthynagar exchage EVDO enabled?

Well I can't really say, but EVDO is now available in almost all the areas in Bangalore. So it must be available at your location. Wait for someone else to reply who are staying nearby ur area. But CDMA 1x should be available for sure.
@ rajasekhar911, I think the exchange is in Rajajinagar.
You don't need a landline to get this thing.

I am staying in HSR layout, and my home is 500m away from BSNL HSR Layout Exchange (opposite to JSS Public School, HSR Layout BDA Complex).
I enquired regarding EVDO facility in tht exchange, but thy are not aware of it.
Could you confirm me whether it is the exchange tht u have specified in the article tht has been published........
and how long it will take for me to get it connected from date of purchase.

I am not very sure about EVDO in your area, but definitely u ll get 1X. You ll get the instrument as soon as u pay the deposit or fees(in case u r buying it) and it ll get activated in a maximum of 1 days time.

I am staying at JP nagar 5th phase Vinayka Nagar (1 km from brigade millennium). Can anyone tell me about coverage, as i m planning to get EVDO.
Y'day i went to jayanagar BSNL cust serv. center, they said they don't have network there, but it seems that they were least interested talking abt it n wanted to ignore by saying no n/w coverage.

Im staying in JP Nagar Phase 2, near Aurobindo circle - and let me assure that Im getting full 4 bars of signal, gettin max speeds of ~125-130KBps D/L, and have continuous network too. Though I had my connection from Ganganagar BSNL CC, i ve been using it here for the past 1 month. SO jayanagar exchange has coverage, though not sure about 5th phase.
Also, Gigacore, plz add Kumaraswamy Layout, T John college area etc to the coverage areas. have been travelling a lot and found networks all around.
Would i be getting gud signal n speed in MSR nagar [New bel road near RIMS college ?? ]
