hey dont forget Gandhinagar its also counted in Ahmedabad area.

Here in Gandhinagar we have tower at bsnl exchange at Sector-11

Only one but that is enough for my beautiful 7 X 7 Km city.

recently saw an ad in newspaper ( on world telecom day ) that bsnl has launched EV-DO in Ahmedabad , Surat, Rajkot .
when i inquired at local exchange. Rep. said What is EV-DO ?
So any memeber have any news about it ? whom to contact ?
i m thinking to going to NIB to have chat with network engineer there.

Apart from the mentioned area in Amdavad evdo coverage is present in Ellisbridge, paldi, jamalpur, and some part of vastrapur. and the NIB is available almost pan Amadavad.

Can a person register at Ahmedabad and use the EVDO at areas in Surat/Vadodara where EVDO is available?
