4 bars but no speed!
Has anyone experienced having 4 bars of network but no web pages opening?
Currently I get into states where my network is shwing 4 bars, but no web page is opening. I then disconnect and reconnect a couple of times and then I start to get some speed. After sometime, the speed starts to become a little better, but I'm not able to get a very consistent speed even though the number of bars is not varying. Any idea what may be going on? maybe the signal strength is too bad or there might be some prob with the network. Its better to contact them and report this problem.

Yeah, i know that. to be honest, i dont have a choice. I'll be moving into ahmedabad wid my lappy in the 1st week of august. And i need an internet connection so BSNL EVDO is prolly my ONLY choice! I just hope it starts getting better... any idea on the status of the connections in A'bad? |

I tried to report them so many times, they take my phone no. and say that they will call but they never called.
Now I am planning to go to exchange and get my device reconfigured. Hope that works. |

I haven't faced this off late, so I think it was just something wrong with the network at the time...

This usually happens when the EVDO card is rejected and is disallowed to use the CDMA network due to reasons from :- NOT PAYING YOUR BILL to goofy software

Same with me too.. 4 bars but pathetic speed.. I cooked up a lot in front of my father on why evdo is better than my existing Home500 plan :mad: .. some more testing required by my side..
